Care must be taken when installing the drain hose for the indoor unit to ensure that any conden-
sate water is correctly drained outside.
The drain hose can be installed to the right of the base pan.

Insert the flexible hose to the drain hose port.

Install the drain hose so that its length can be as short as possible.
Internal diameter of the drain hose should be the same or slightly bigger than the external diameter
of the drain hose port.
3 Wrap the drain hose with the insulation drain as shown in figure and secure it.

Fix the flexible hose to the indoor unit with the supplied cable clamp
securely. (Use the screwdriver to fix the flexible hose securely.)
• Inner diameter of the drain hose
• Give a slightly slant to the drain hose for proper drainage of
condensate.
• Fix the flexible hose to the PVC with the supplied cable tie
securely.

When installing insulation in places and conditions below, use the same insulation that is used for high humidity conditions.
<Geological condition>
- High humidity places such as shoreline, hot spring, near lake or river, and ridge (when the part of the building is covered by
earth and sand.)
<Operation purpose condition>
- Restaurant ceiling, sauna, swimming pool etc.
<Building construction condition>
- The ceiling frequently exposed to moisture and cooling is not covered.
e.g. The pipe installed at a corridor of a dormitory and studio or near an exit that opens and closes frequently.
- The place where the pipe is installed is highly humid due to the lack of ventilation system.
