When the CD drive cover cannot be opened, slide the Emergency Cover Open
groove on the base of the system to the left.
Take care that no foreign substances come into contact with the CD drive.
Using the CD drive when any foreign substances are in contact with it may
damage the drive.
Do not close the LCD panel when the CD drive cover is open. The LCD and
cover may become damaged.
Do not touch the CD lens with your hands. The drive may not recognize a CD-
ROM if the lens has been touched. If the CD lens has come into contact with
a foreign substance, clean the lens with the CD lens brush.
If you remove the CD when the CD access LED is on, the disk and the data in
it may be damaged.
To clean a CD or DVD title
Clean the disc with a soft clean cloth by wiping from the center outwards.
To play a DVD
You have to install the DVD software provided on a separate CD to view a
DVD title.

Press and hold the groove with a ball-point
pen, and slide it to the left to open the CD
drive cover.
