You can easily set up an e-mail account that you have with an Internet service provider
(ISP) or a web-based email account on your smartphone.
• From the Home Screen, press Start> Messaging> New Email Account.
• Use the keyboard to enter an email address.
• Your smartphone will attempt to determine the necessary communication
settings for both incoming and outgoing emails.
• Press Next to attempt to retrieve these settings automatically. This process may
take several minutes.
• If the device was able to automatically retrieve the necessary settings, press Next.
• If the device was unable to automatically obtain the settings, press Previous to
return to the initial Email set up screen and follow the instructions in the user
manual to configure the e-mail account manually.
• On the next screen, use the keypad to enter the name you wish to associate with
this email account.
• This name will appear within the list of available email accounts on your Messages
screen.
