If the version is not

, you will need to run the PC Studio

application to update the device from the previous firmware version.

New Installation of the PC Studio Application

The only method of updating your device’s firmware is to use the
Update tool contained within the Samsung PC Studio application.

Important!:

Although your included DVD comes with a version of PC Studio.
The goal in this section is to guarantee you are using the latest
downloadable version.

Download the latest application executable (exe) from:

www.samsung.com/us/PCstudio

Warning!:

Firmware update can delete any information, data or purchased

applications from the Mondi device. It is recommended that you
back up any important information and remove the microSD card
prior to this update.

Launch the downloaded PC Studio executable file.

Select a language and click

Follow the onscreen prompts to select a country, agree to

the license agreement, choose a destination folder for the

software and complete the installation process.

Updating Your Existing PC Studio Application

The New PC Studio application can be updated either via the
application menu or manually via the executable file.

To update the PC Studio software via the application:

On your computer, click

Start > Programs > Samsung New

PC Studio > Samsung New PC Studio

Click

(Update tool).

From the

Update

popup, click the

NPS Update

tab.

Follow the onscreen instructions to automatically update

the application to the latest available version.

To manually update the application using the exe file:

Download the latest application executable (exe) from:

www.samsung.com/us/PCstudio

Launch the downloaded New PC Studio executable file.

The application will detect if a previous version is already

installed on your computer.
