Symptom: 1) The PC does not recognize the USB
monitor.
2) A No Video error occurs when USB
signals are received.
Cause:
The USB monitor driver is not installed
correctly on the PC.
This fault occurs because the user has not
installed the USB monitor driver onto their
PC correctly.
Action:
Reconnect the USB cable to the PC
correctly so that the driver can be installed
automatically, or install the driver manually
using the Install CD.
If the driver is installed correctly on the PC,
the newly installed device is displayed in the
Device Manager window, as shown in the
figure to the right.
*Identifying whether the driver is
installed correctly.
Symptom: When the monitor is turned on, only a
full white pattern is displayed continually
regardless of the signals.
Cause:
This fault occurs when only the lamp power
is supplied and no video signals are input
to the panel due to a fault or incorrect
connections of the LVDS cable.
Action:
Replace or reconnect the LVDS cable
correctly so that video signals can be
supplied to the panel.
* A full white pattern is a feature of the
TN panel and is displayed when no
video signals are supplied.
