5 Troubleshooting

Notes:

1. Before troubleshooting, setup the PC’s display as below.

• Resolution: 1280 x 1024
• H-frequency: 64 kHz
• V-frequency: 60 Hz

2. If no picture appears, make sure the power cord is correctly connected.

3. Check the following circuits.

• No raster appears: SMPS PCB, Main PCB
• 12V develop but no screen: Main PCB
• 12V does not develop: SMPS PCB

4. If you push and hold the “EXIT” button for more than 5 seconds, the monitor automatically returns

to the factory preset.

does proper DC 13V, DC 5V

appear at Pin 1, 2 and Pin 6, 7 of

CN101 separately?

Change IP board.

Yes

When Pin 3 of IC102 is

DC 5V does proper DC 3.3V

appear at Pin 4 of IC102?

Check IC102 and related circuit.

Yes

No

When Pin 5 of IC101 is

DC 3.3V does proper DC 5V

appear at Pin 2, 3 of IC101?

Check IC101 and related circuit.

No

Yes

When Pin 3 of IC103 is

DC 5V does proper DC 2.5V

appear at Pin 4 of IC103?

Check IC103 and related circuit.
