Troubleshooting

■  Repairs to the gas and electrical components of this appliance must only be carried out by 

a suitably qualified and competent person to ensure safety. 

■  However, some minor problems can be resolved as follows :

The flame supervision device is 
contaminated with alien substance.

Clean the flame supervision

Yellow Flame

The holes in the flame spreader 
are clogged.

Clean the flame spreader.

Different gas is used.

Check the gas used.

Unstable Flame

The burner lid is badly assembled.

Assemble the burner lid 

correctly.

Gas Smell

A gas tap has been left on.

Check to see if any gas taps are 

on.

There may be a leak between 
the coupling and the gas bottle.

Make sure that the connection is 

airtight.
