Enter text and create messages or notes.
Enter text using the virtual keypad
1. Open the text input field with the phone closed.
2. Touch the appropriate virtual keys to enter text.
• To select an input mode, touch T STR .
• To quickly switch between English mode and T9
English mode, touch T9 off or T9 on .
• To change case in T9 English or English mode,
touch Abc .
• To quickly switch to Symbol mode, touch .
You can use the following text input modes:

Pinyin
1. Touch the appropriate virtual keys to enter
pinyins.
2. Touch a pinyin.
3. Touch
0
. A number appears by each
character.
4. Touch or to scroll to a character.
5. Touch the character you want.
S Stroke
1. Touch 1 through 5 to enter strokes. Touch
6 when you are unsure which stroke to
enter. This will insert a placeholder.
