To enter periods, hyphens, apostrophes, and other special characters press
then press the key that contains the
associated symbol.
To shift case in T9 mode:

. There are 3 cases: Capital lock, Initial capital, and Lower case.
Tip:
You can move the cursor by using the Navigation keys.
To delete characters:

key to clear the display.
Using Numeric Mode
Numeric mode enables you to enter numbers into a text message.

Press the keys corresponding to the digits you want to enter.
Using Symbol Mode
Symbol mode enables you to insert symbols and punctuation marks into text.
To display a list of symbols:
1.
Press
until the symbols display on the screen, or press the
Right
soft key and select
Symbol
.
2.
Press the corresponding number key to select a symbol.
3.
Press the Navigation keys to display more symbols.
4.
Press the
key to clear the symbol(s). When the input field is empty, this key returns the display to the
previous mode.
5.
Press the
OK
soft key or
to insert the symbol(s) into your message.
