Lens Storage and Maintenance

Storage and Bacteria Prevention
Store the lens in a dry and well ventilated area.
Do not store the lens in a closet, car, or confined area with chemicals.
Do not store the lens in high temperature or humidity.
2.
This lens is not water-proof. Be careful not to allow it to get wet when using it near water.
3.
Do not use chemicals such as thinner, alcohol, or benzene to remove dust.
4.
The lens is a precise optical product. Do not drop the lens or apply excessive shock to it.
5.
Avoid using the lens anywhere there is a sudden temperature change as condensation may form on
the inside or outside of the lens.
Keep the lens in a plastic bag or camera case and use it in normal temperature.
6.
When not mounting the lens onto the camera, place the lens cap and lens mount cover on the lens to
prevent foreign particles from entering the lens.
7.
Do not keep the camera mounted on a tripod without the lens cap.
The inside of the camera can be damaged by a direct ray of light.
8.
Check the lens once in every year or two for best performance.
