Ash removal
Ashes should be regularly removed to prevent ash spills outside and the build-up of ash
around the start-up air housing located inside the firebox. Ashes should be placed in a metal
container with a tight fitting lid.
Always leave a thin layer of ash in the bottom of the firebox for protection when the logs are
on fire.
Ash contains all mineral salts required by plants for vegetation – therefore, it can be used as a
fertiliser.
Glass cleaning
Allow the glass to cool before cleaning.
There is a variety of special glass cleaners available on the market. Read instructions before
using them. Do not use abrasive cleaners to clean the glass. Make sure that glass cleaner does
not get into the seal.
Notes
Your stove is supplied with a ceramic glass that will withstand 750 C. Close each time the
stove door with a doors latch.
Do not build a fire too close to the glass. Do not use the firebox when the glass is broken or
cracked.
Do not use any flammable liquids or fat to start the fire.
IMPORTANT!
Flammable materials must be kept at least 150 cm away from hot air outlets
