Clogged nozzle

Cut the pressure on
the pump.
Depressurize the hoses.

Remove and clean
the nozzle with solvent
by means of the brush.

Check the seal
condition.
Pattern width narrows
during reversing phase of
the pump

Air trapped in the fluid
circuit
•
Check connections
and suction hose
quality.
•
Viscosity too high
•
Reduce viscosity.
Aircap becomes dirty
frequently
•
Too much atomizing
air
•
Reduce air pressure.
Fluid seeping from the air
holes of the aircap

Defective nozzle seal
•
Replace it.
•
Nozzle loose
•
Tighten it.
Fluid leak at the packing
•
Packing is worn
•
Tighten up the packing
holder without
blocking the needle.
•
If there is still a leak,
replace the packing
and the needle.
Fluid leak at the front part
of the gun, trigger released

Impurities in the paint
•
Trigger the gun 3 or 4
times.
•
Needle worn or/and
nozzle worn

Replace needle
or/and nozzle.
Air leak at the valve

Valve worn

Change the valve.
Permanent air leak at the

Remove the trigger
and check that the
