The “AXIS IP Utility“ tool automatically recognizes all ExCam devices and displays them.
It can also be used to manually assign a static IP address. Please note that the ExCam
IPQ6055 network camera has to be installed within the same network segment (physical
subnet) as the computer on which the “AXIS IP Utility” tool is executed. For example, the
ExCam IPQ6055 network identification is
„Axis Q6055“ (q.v. figure 6.1). MAC address
and serial number are also determined and displayed so that a non-ambiguous identifica-
tion is possible.
