5.6.
Preparing the rake for operation
NOTE:
During storing of the machines in company SaMASZ the cylinders are protected
by special grease in order to secure them against weather which may cause their
premature wear. Before starting the operation excess grease should be removed
from the cylinders.
The following should be performed in workplace and with rake in working position:

control height of set rake tines,
❑
if need be, lift rake up again to transport position, close safety valves for trolley's cylinder feeding

), and readjust raking height as per instructions provided on
NOTE:
There is a danger present that rake can get self-lowered from transport
position. All maintenance works should be performed with closed valve for
trolley's cylinder feeding (
NOTE:
Accidental machine falling may be caused by rake's lifting assembly being not
tight. When operating the rake being in transport position it is forbidden to walk
under the machine parts.
NOTE:
Prior to lowering of machine's rotors make sure that no unauthorized personnel
is around.

Adjust height of ground following wheel in order to properly set gear in working position,

Adjusting raking height is possible only with trolley lifted up (
