TRAILED ROTARY TEDDER
OPERATOR’S MANUAL
WARNING!
Wheel tracks, muddy terrain or steep slopes may prevent the tedder from being
folded. Folding the tedder on this type of ground can cause damage to the
machine.
WARNING!
When folding the tedder, ensure that there are no bystanders within the folding
radius of the tedder arms.
e)
Rotate the steered wheels to the position parallel to the direction of travel and the tedder bars
The tedder is equipped with two wheel sets (
). The controlled wheels are rigidly connected to
the tedder frame and their position is adjusted by a mechanism equipped with hydraulic cylinders.
The controlled wheels
maintain a constant direction of travel behind the tractor. In transport position,
the wheels are parallel to the tedder bars and in operation position - perpendicular.
The free-rolling wheels
have the possibility to freely rotate around vertical axles. The movement of the
machine and its eccentric design forces the wheels to be positioned towards the ground in the direction
of travel.
