Currency Exchange Rate Programming Examples
Note:
Foreign currency exchange rates can be stated as “foreign currency
in dollars”,
or “dollars in foreign currency”.
Use the rate stated in “dollars in foreign currency”
when you are programming this section.
The US dollar (home currency) is worth 1.3720 Canadian dollars (foreign currency).

The US dollar (home currency) is worth 110.24 Japanese Yen (foreign currency).

currency. The default descriptors are CONV 1-4.
EXCHANGE
RATE
7 digits
Enter the exchange rate of up to 7 digits (do not enter the
decimal point). See the examples.
DECIMAL
PLACE
0 - 4
Enter a number from 0 to 4 to indicate the decimal position
of the exchange rate. Count the decimal position from the
right. See the examples below.
