Recognising and eliminating mistakes when frying
Frying oil/frying grease
Causes
Foams heavily
Used or unsuitable oil was used, e.g. salad oil

Completion of operation
Switch appliance off
−
press the “On/Off” button and hold it for three seconds.
The indicator light in the button goes out.
Three points will light up in the display.
Filter the frying-oil/frying-grease and clean the appliance, see the following Chapter9. “Cleaning and
care”.
Turn off the mains switch.

Cleaning and care
Keep caustic cleaners away from the control panel!
Do not spray off or clean the appliance with water hoses, high-pressure cleaners, high-pressure steam
cleaners or general steam cleaners.
Follow the instructions supplied by the manufacturer of the cleaning product!
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.
Do not use any caustic or acid cleaning agents on the frying basket and heater; this may destroy the
corrosion protection and cause danger of rusting!
Stainless steel must not be in prolonged contact with concentrated acids, vinegar essence, salt solu-
tion, mustard or spice mixtures, otherwise the protective layer will be attacked. After use, rinse stain-
less steel surfaces until water runs clear.
