Automatic cooking time correction
(timer option)
This setting can be switched on or off by the user; see starting on page 45 in Chapter 5.9.3.
If the cooking time function is activated and if the short time clock or the automatic basket lift are used, the
control will automatically prolong the cooking time for larger portions.
This has the advantage that you do not need to change the cooking time every time when the fill quantities
change.
Determining the cooking time setting
In order for the function cooking time correction to be able to determine setting values, 1/5 of the maximum
amount should be deep fried to determine the time setting.
Example: Maximum quantitiy 1000 grams, 1/5 would be 200 grams.
Set up the required setpoint temperature for the food to be deep fried.
Fill the deep frying basket with 200 grams of food.
Start the short time clock with sufficiently long cooking time setting (e.g. 10 minutes).
Insert the deep frying basket into the bowl immediately.
Monitor the cooking process: Once the food is fried, read the shown remaining time and write it down.
Calculate the frying time from the cooking time setting (e.g. 10 minutes) and the remaining time.
If the frying result is OK, now you can use the determined time to fry different volumes of foods!
If you change foods, e.g. the manufacturer or from cooled to frozen items, you have to check the cooking
time setting.

Automatic switching to standby-mode

The control switches the deep fat fryer to standby mode automatically if
−
no button has been pressed for a time period of 30 minutes (factory setting), or

if no temperature decrease has been detected by the control, which may point to a deep frying pro-
cess.
Settings for the standby mode; see starting with page 45 in Chapter 5.9.3 / 5.9.4:
