Initial use
Before using the appliance for the first time, clean with a cleaning product that dissolves grease.
Dry the cleaned parts and surfaces with a soft cloth.
For cleaning, see page 51 section 9.

Getting ready for use
Close the drain tap
−
swing the lever up and
latch.
Close
Open
Remove the frying basket and the insert sieve
from the bowl.
Swivelling the heater
With built-in deep fat fryers:
Hook handle onto the heating element and raise
the heating element.
With freestanding deep fat fryers:
Swing the heater up by turning the lever in the
anti-clockwise direction.
Install the heater support into the bowl with the
appropriate sides aligned

place the higher piece
in the front.
Swivel heating element in.
Lay the insert sieve onto the heater.
Option automatic basket lift:
Place the basket holder onto the lifting device.
Hook the deep frying basket into the basket
holder.
