4.2 Clean the optical fiber under test and connect to the OTDR interface of the instrument. Pay
attention to the type of the optical fiber street under test. If the mismatched connector type is
connected to the instrument, the output optical fiber head of the instrument may be damaged and the
correct measurement result may not be obtained.
4.3 Press the SCAN key, the instrument begins to SCAN the optical fiber, and the scanning progress
is displayed on the screen. The instrument does not need to set pulse width, and is automatically
adjusted in the scanning process. Based on powerful intelligent analysis software, the optical fiber
event points in the whole measurement range are calculated.
4.4 The measurement is completed and all measurements are displayed. The total number of events
can be up to 30, press the up and down key to scroll through the value of each event. The error of
reflection event is small, and the error of attenuation event is relatively large.
4.5 An empty event is displayed if the measured value is in or out of the instrument blind area.
4.6 The position of the current breakpoint is displayed after instrumentation is completed.
Attention: Do not look directly at the end or break of the fiber or tail under test to prevent eye
damage.

Hand-held portable Optical Fiber Ranger, instructions for use, USB charging head, USB charging
cable, Oxford soft pack, SC adapter, packaging carton.
Note: lithium battery charging voltage is 5V.Mobile phone charger can be used.
