24. In case of technical problems, switch off the machine and do not attempt to repair it
yourself. Return the appliance to an authorised service facility for examination,
adjustment or repair. Always insist on the use of original spare parts. Failure to
comply with the above mentioned pre-cautions and instructions, could affect the safe
operation of this machine.
25. Never overfill the water tank. Always ensure the water filled is above the minimum
mark but below th
e maximum mark in order to extend the unit’s lifespan.
26. Make sure the lid is securely fitted before switching the unit on.
27. Do not open the water tank cover, and do not remove the water tank or funnel whilst
the unit is in operation.
28. Do not operate the unit when the water tank is empty.
29. Do not touch the heating plate/carafe immediately after switching the unit off as this
will cause injury. Note: the unit remains hot for a while after it has been switched off.
30. Use only clean water.
31. Make sure you clean the filter, funnel, heating plate/carafe and water tank regularly.
32. Do not operate this appliance by means of an external timer or a separate remote
control.
