11. When the Hot Surface Light goes out, press the ON/OFF Switch to
the OFF position and unplug the appliance from the wall outlet.
NOTE: When you have finished cooking and the appliance is hot
you can place a pan of cold water on the appliance to avoid any
one touching the hot surface.
CARE AND CLEANING
1. Allow the appliance to cool until the Hot Surface Warning Light
goes out.
2. Press the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
3. Unplug from the wall outlet.
4. Wipe the surface of the Cooktop with a cloth dampened in warm
soapy water to remove any spills.
IMPORTANT: NEVER IMMERSE THIS UNIT IN WATER.
5. If there are stuck on spills use a nylon scrubber that is safe for
non-stick cookware. NEVER USE ABRASIVE CLEANSERS.
6. To rinse, wipe with a cloth dampened in clean water.
7. Dry with a soft cloth.
IMPORTANT:
• When cleaning with a damp sponge or cloth ensure that water
does not enter the air vents located on the side and bottom of
the appliance.
• Never clean the appliance unless it is cool, some cleaners can
produce toxic fumes if applied to a hot surface.
