2.   If either Cover is opened during the grinding or brewing process  

both will stop until the Grinder Cover is installed and the Coffee  

Maker Cover is closed. Restart the Coffee Maker by pressing  

the ON/OFF Button. If you do not want the use the Grinder, press  

the Grinder Off Button before pressing the ON Button.  

CARE AnD CLEAnInG 

1.  Turn the Coffee Maker off, unplug and let cool before cleaning. 
2.   Open the Coffee Maker Cover and remove the Grinder Cover and 

Grinder. 

3.   Gently slide out the Filter Basket. Remove the Filter Basket Cover and  

the Permanent Filter.  Empty out ground coffee. 

4.   The Grinder, Grinder Cover, Permanent Filter, Filter Basket Cover and  

Filter Basket can be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher or  

in warm soapy water. 

5.   Once the Grinder has been removed do not put any water in the top  

of the unit. The area around the Grinder can be wiped with a soft damp 

cloth. 

Do not

 allow any water to get into the grinder motor as this 

could damage the motor.

6.   The Grinder Trap Door Assembly can be removed  

for cleaning. (Ill. 5). Press the right side tab  

towards the left. Lift up the assembly and clean.  

To replace place the 2 notches on the left side  

of the Assembly into the holes on the left side  

of the assembly holder then press down on the  

right side until it snaps into position. 

7.   Wash the Carafe and Lid and the Permanent Filter in warm soapy water. 

Rinse and dry. 

Do not

 use scouring powders or harsh chemicals on  

the carafe or any parts of the Coffee Maker. 

8.   Wipe the Main Housing and Bottom Plate with a soft damp cloth.  

NEVER IMMERSE THE MAIN HOUSING IN WATER OR ANY OTHER 

LIQUID. Wipe with a clean soft cloth to dry before storing.
