HOW TO USE
1. Place the Bacon Maker on a dry and level surface and make sure the
Drip Tray is securely in place. Plug the power cord into 120V AC wall
outlet.
2. Turn the Cooking Dial to the PREHEAT setting. Slide Stainless Steel
Cover over the Cooking Plate and let the unit preheat for 5 minutes.
Once the unit is preheated, the Bacon Maker will chime once and the
unit will turn off.
3. Remove the Stainless Steel Cover by the Handle and set aside on a
heat resistant surface.
4. Carefully place 6 pieces of bacon evenly spaced on the Cooking
Plate. For best results do not overlap bacon strips.
NOTE: Due to the variety of bacon on the market, the exact number
of bacon strips that will fill fit on the Cooking Plate will depend on
the width of each strip.
5. Slide the Stainless Steel Cover over the Cooking Plate and turn the
Cooking Dial to the desired setting.
NEVER cook bacon without the Stainless Steel Cover in place.
Grease from the bacon may spatter and cause serious burn or
injury to individuals.
6. When the cooking cycle has ended, the Bacon Maker will chime once
and the unit will turn off.
7. Using the Handle, carefully lift the Stainless Steel Cover and check
the doneness. If desired, slide the Stainless Steel Cover back onto the
Bacon Maker and cook for a few more minutes.
NOTE: Bacon comes in many different types and thicknesses so it is
important to experiment to find the perfect cooking time & doneness.
IMPORTANT: Steam is generated during the cooking process. To
avoid burns or serious injury, stay clear of the steam when lifting the
Stainless Steel Cover.
8. Once bacon is done, use wooden or silicone utensils to remove the
bacon.
NOTE: To avoid scratching the non stick surface, never use sharp or
metal utensils to remove the bacon from the Cooking Plate.
NEVER touch the hot Cooking plate with your hands.
9. To cook additional bacon, remove the Drip Tray, discard the fat and
repeat the above steps.
10.When finished, unplug the Bacon Maker from the wall outlet and allow
to cool completely before cleaning.
