PREPARING FOR USE
1. Place the appliance on a stable, horizontal, and even surface.
2. Place the rack in the frying basket.
Do not fill the frying basket with oil or any other liquid.
Do not put anything on top of the appliance, the airflow will be disrupted and affects the
hot air frying result.
HOT AIR FRYING
1. Connect the mains plug to an earthed wall socket.
2. Carefully pull the frying basket out of the air fryer. (Fig 3)
3. Put the ingredients on the rack in the frying basket, never use the frying basket without the
rack in it.
4. Slide the frying basket back into the air fryer. (Fig 5)
Carefully align with the guides on the housing of the fryer.
Caution: Do not touch the frying basket during and sometime after use, as it gets
very hot. Only hold the frying basket by the handle.
5. Determine the required preparation time for the ingredient (see section ‘Settings’ in this
chapter).
6. Some ingredients require shaking halfway through the preparation time. To shake the
ingredients, pull the frying basket out of the appliance by the handle and shake it. Then
slide the frying basket back into the fryer.
7. When you hear the timer, the set preparation time has elapsed. Pull the basket out of the
appliance.
Note: You can also switch off the appliance manually. To do this, set the time to 1.
Tips: You can adjust the temperature or time according to your taste during use.
8. Check if the ingredients are ready.
If the ingredients are not ready yet, simply slide the frying basket back into the appliance
and set the timer to a few extra minutes.
9. To remove ingredients (e.g., fries), pull the frying basket out of the air fryer and place it on a
trial framework.
Do not turn the rack upside down with the basket still attached to it, as any excess
oil that has collected on the bottom of the frying basket will leak onto the
ingredients.
The frying basket and the ingredients are hot. Depending on the type of ingredients
in the air fryer, steam may escape from the basket.
