Components are greased when shipped.
Assembly Instruction
1. Line up axle tower (4) and tandem axle assembly (1 or 2) with lugs on mainframe. Insert 1 1/2" x 13 1/2"
pin through tower, axle and frame. Retain pin with 5/8" x 1 1/2" hex bolt and 5/8" lockwasher.
2. Set (5) mainframe turnbuckle to 54 inches pin to pin. Connect turnbuckle to frame with 1 1/4" x 5 1/2" pin,
1 1/4" machine bushings, and 5/16" x 2" cotter pins. Attach turnbuckle to axle tower with 1 1/4" x 6 1/2" pin,
1 1/4" machine bushings, and 3/8" x 2" cotter pins. Include turnbuckle lock. (27) It fits inside the 2 frame lugs.
3. Attach hydraulic cylinder (3) to axle tower with 1" x 3 1/4" head pin and 1/4" x 1 1/2" cotter pin. Leave the
cylinder rod end and transport lock loose until the cylinders have been charged. See hydrualic schematics for
hose and fittings data.
4. Attach transport lock (6) to axle tower with a 1" x 4 1/2" pin and 5/16" x 1 1/2" cotter pins. Attach transport lock
to axle beam with a 1" x 2 5/8" head pin and 1/4" x 1 1/2" cotter pin. The transport lock pin is a 1" x 4 1/4" with a
ring handle (25). It locks with a #9 hairpin.
5. Install Hub and Spindle assemblies (28) into axles and retain with 5/8" x 3" hexbolts and 5/8" locknuts.
