NOTE: The appliance features an automatic switching-off function. It switches off auto-
matically after continuous operating for approx. 1 hour.
— Slide the locking device backward to disengage the heating plates.
— Connect the appliance to the power supply. The display shows “OFF”.
— Keep pressing the on/off button for 1 - 2 seconds to switch on the appliance. The dis-
play shows the default temperature setting 210 °C.
— The temperature of the heating plates starts to increase instantly. The temperature
and increasing indicators are flashing on the display.
— Press the “+” and “-” buttons to select the desired heating temperature (150 °C / 170
°C / 190 °C / 210 °C / 230 °C).
— Keep pressing the “-” button for 2 - 3 seconds to lock the “+” and “-” buttons. The
symbol is indicated on the display. Keep pressing the “-” button again for 2 - 3
seconds to unlock the “+” and “-” buttons. The symbol disappears from the display.
— After the heating plates reach the set temperature, the temperature and increasing
indicators will be constantly indicated on the display.
— Hold the appliance on the gripping surface, clamp a strand of hair between the heating
plates and slowly move the appliance down towards the tips of your hair. Make sure not
to press the heating plates on your hair for too long.
— When the operation is finished, keep pressing the on/off button for 1 - 2 seconds to
switch off the appliance.
— Disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Place it on a heat-resistant surface
or hang it onto a hook to let it cool down.
CLEANING
— Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely.
— Do not clean the appliance with steel wool, strong chemicals, alkali, abrasive or disin-
fecting agents as they may damage its surface.
— Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids to clean it. Make sure that the
electrical parts do not become wet or damp.
— Remove any hair left on the appliance and heating plates.
— Clean the appliance with a soft damp cloth and, if necessary, a little mild detergent.
Wipe with a dry soft cloth.
— The appliance may only be used again after it is dried completely.
