Operation
VHF channels
You can change channels whenever the channel designator is displayed. Enter
the channel using the keypad or turn the selector knob to browse through all
channels that are available in the selected channel table. Only valid channel
numbers are accepted. When browsing channels they appear in the display in
the following order:

Primary channels
•
Private channels (if any)
With a long press on the
16/C
key the radio changes to the call
channel (channel 16 for the channel table INT, if no other channel is
programmed in
Channel setup
on page 21).

page 21. Contact your local dealer if you are interested in having private
channels.
Channel information always available in the display
For some functions and for setup pages, the
channel and radio information has moved to
the bottom section of the display. You can
change channels whenever the channel
designator is displayed.
The channel number displayed in this section
always reflects the communication channel on
which the radio is tuned into for
VHF channel table
