Starting & Driving
Twin-clutch Sportronic Transmission
(TST)
Instructions
The following information is very important, please read it
carefully before use:
• Before starting the engine, ensure the gear lever is in
P (Park) or N (Neutral) position, both foot brake and
Electric Park Brake (EPB) is applied.
• After the engine is started, keep both brakes applied
before and whilst moving the gear lever to the required
gear position.
• Switch off the EPB, hold the foot brake until you are
ready to drive. On a flat road, an 'automatic' will
tend to creep forward or backward without throttle
application, as soon as the foot brake is released.
• DO NOT coast in N position, this incorrect operation
will damage the transmission.

transmission.
Note: The highlighted letter or number on the message
centre displays the selected gear or driving mode.
The gear lever is fitted with a spring lock button (as arrow
shown in figure) to minimize the possibility of accidental
