INSTRUCTION MANUAL 

 
Please read carefully all instructions before using the appliance for the first time. Keep 
the instruction manual in a safe place for future reference. 
 
 
 

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

  

 
1.

 

Do not use the heater unless the feet are correctly attached. 

2.

 

Ensure the power supply to the socket into which the heater is plugged is in accordance 
with the rating label on the heater and that the socket is earthed. 

3.

 

Keep the power cord away from the hot body of the heater.  

4.

 

Warning: Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a 
swimming pool. 

5.

 

Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.  

6.

 

The meaning of figure 

in marking is ‘DO NOT COVER’. 

7.

 

Indoor use only. 

8.

 

Do not place the heater on carpets having a very deep pile. 

9.

 

Always ensure that the heater is placed on a firm level surface.  

10.

 

Do not place the heater close to curtains or furniture in order to avoid a fire hazard.  

11.

 

Warning: Heater cannot be located immediately below a socket-outlet.                               

12.

 

Warning: Heater cannot be mounted on the wall. 

13.

 

Do not insert any object through the heat outlet or air grilles of the heater. 

14.

 

Do not use the heater in areas where flammable liquids are stored or where flammable 
fumes may be present. 

15.

 

Always unplug the heater when moving it from one location to another. 

16.

 

Warning: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its 
service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. 

17.

 

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with 
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if 
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe 
way and understand the hazards involved.

Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be 
made by children without supervision. 

19.

 

Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised. 

20.

 

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance 
provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and 
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe 
way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 
years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance. 

21.

 

CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. 
Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are 
present.
