Receiving a SMS
Received SMSs are stored in the SIM card (indicated by the icon) or in the phone memory (indicated by the icon) until
you decide to delete them.
When you receive a SMS, there is an audible signal (selected in the Settings / Sounds / Ringtones ) menu and the message
icon is displayed on the screen of your phone.
If you do not read the messages, this icon remains displayed on the screen. When it flashes, the memory is full.
Inbox
In the Messages menu, select SMS and then Inbox .
The list of SMSs received is displayed.
- Select a message using the navigation keys.
- Press [ Read ] to read it.
- Press [ Options ] to access the delete message option.
Outbox
This menu displays SMSs that failed to send. You can therefore try to send again.
Sentbox
The Sentbox menu is used to store all your sent SMS if you activated the option Store sent msgs in the menu SMS / Options
(see next page).
Remember to delete these messages regularly so as not to use up too much of the phone's memory, which would prevent
reception of other messages.
- In the Messages menu, select SMS and then Sentbox .
- Select a message and press [ Options ] to access the various functions proposed.
Drafts
When you store a composed message, it is stored among the drafts.
- In the Messages menu, select SMS and then Drafts .
- Select a message. To change it, press [ Modify ] or to access the various functions proposed on this message, press OK .
- To delete all the messages press [ Options ].
