This function enables you to listen to the caller leaving you a message on your TAD, before deciding on whether
to pick up or not.

•
WITH CALL SCREENING
: you can hear the messages as they are recorded on your TAD, and:
- adjust the SPEAKER volume using the and keys,
- pick up to answer the call.
•
WITHOUT CALL SCREENING
: messages are recorded in silence, only a message on the screen tells you
you are receiving a call and a message is being recorded:
- you can pick up to answer the call.

This function enables you to choose a code, which you will give to those persons who may call you at a given
moment (e.g. your collaborators during a meeting or your close relatives from a certain time).

When the privileged access function is in service, the icon blinks.

Only those privileged callers having your privileged access code will be able to call you.
To do so, they should proceed as follows:

Dial your number.

Press the * key during the greeting message, then enter the 4 digits of your privileged access code: your
machine only starts ringing after the code has been entered.

If you do not answer, the caller will have the possibility to leave a message on your TAD, if this is in ser-
vice.
