This menu enables you to change or
customise the handset and base parameters.
Programming a key
This function enables you to programme the
and
keys on your handset giving you
direct access to certain functions right from
the idle screen.
On the navigator key
, press
or
until the
SETTINGS
screen is displayed,
press
OK
to confirm.
Select
PROGRAM KEYS
using
or
.
Press
Valid.

A screen presents the function currently
assigned the
key.

To keep the function, press
Valid.

To modify the function, press
Edit
.
Choose from the function list the function you
want to assign to the key. Press

to
select one of the following functions:

Valid.

• SILENCE
• ALARM
• TIMER
• KEY LOCK
• NUMBER
• REDIAL
• ANSW. MACH.
With the number function, you
associate a telephone number to a
program key. You can thus quickly
call your contact.
Once the
key is programmed, a screen
invites you to programme the key

Modifying the date and time
On the navigator key

SETTINGS

DATE/TIME

A screen displays the current date.
Enter the date in DD/MM/YY format and

A screen displays the current time.
Enter the time in HH/ MM format and press

Using the auto hang up and pick
up features
The auto hang up feature enables you to
automatically hang up by simply putting the
handset back on its base.
When active, the auto pick up feature
enables you to automatically pick up as soon
as you remove the handset from its base.
If the auto hang up feature is on,
communication ends when the
handset is put back on its base.
