2.  Select the tea type by pressing one of TEA

buttons. The tea type determines brew

temperature. The Smart Tea Pot™ has 4

3.  Start heating by pressing START/CANCEL

button. The Smart Tea Pot™ will start

heating.

4.  Once the selected brew temperature is

reached it will beep 3 times. Open the tea

basket lid and use a tea spoon

(approximately 5g) to fill the basket with tea

leaves. As a general guide, use 1 teaspoon of

tea leaves per cup / 250ml of water,

however this will depend on the instructions

on tea packaging and your personal

preference. Re-place the tea basket lid.

steep for preset steep time shown in the

below table. MILD will shorten it by 1

minute and STRONG will lengthen it by 1

NOTE

To customise steeping time press CUSTOM

button several times consecutively. Each time

you press it will add 1 minute. You can adjust

the time between 1-5 minutes.

6.  Once brewing cycle is complete, the Smart

Tea Pot™ will beep once. Open the tea

basket lid and remove the tea basket. Then

close the lid. Your tea is ready now. The

Smart Tea Pot™ will keep the tea warm until

you are ready to drink.

NOTE

Keep warm will last for 30 minutes after

the tea is brewed. It will continue even

when the jug is re-placed after serving. It

stops if you press START/CANCEL button

or the kettle is not placed on the power

base for more than 5 minutes. To avoid

damaging the machine, we recommend to

stop keep warm when there is no liquid.

BOILING WATER

Remove the tea basket and fill the glass jug

with water. Close the jug with the lid. Press

BOIL button to select boiling cycle. Press

START/CANCEL button to start. When

finished, there will be one long beep.
