Power On the Tox Detective
The ToxDetective detects the presence of acetylcholinesterase-inhibiting com-
pounds such as pesticides, nerve agents, toxic/heavy metals, and other toxicants
in/on cannabis . The ToxDetective has been designed to analyze test results
obtained using the ToxDetective a/b test packs. The reader measures the fluo-
rescence generated on each test ticket pair (001a & 001b) and converts them to
a positive or negative result .
STORAGE/USAGE
For optimum results, store the ToxDetective a/b test packs at room temperature
(23ºC or 73ºF). The a/b test packs have a two (2) year shelf life. The expiration
date is printed on the foil pouch of each test pack .
• Do not use assays beyond their expiration date
• Do not use assays stored in a previously opened and/or damaged foil pouch
• Do not reuse assays.
• Avoid direct sunlight or extreme high/cold temperatures
Before starting a test, power on the ToxDetective reader
(power button located on right hand side of device).
Swipe the home screen with your finger to locate and
activate the application (The application is called ACE).
Once the application has loaded, it will
prompt you to engage the USB connection . Check the
box and press “OK” . The system is now ready for use .
IMPORTANT: Failure to check the USB box and press “OK”
when prompted will result in failure to read any test tickets.
