SETTING TIME STAMP

NOTE: If you are going to use the video function, we highly recommend you deal with the time 

stamp feature now. The time stamp feature embeds time in the video. This is useful for evi-

dentiary purposes. Should there ever be an incident, the time stamp will show exactly when it 

happened! 

You can turn the time stamp feature ON or OFF. Your call.

1. Make sure SD card is in DVR 

2. Connect USB cable to unit and other end to computer USB port 

3. Copy and save the text file from the same section you got this user manual. Save it right below 

the DCIM folder (this is called the root section)
