Choose Position for Your Child

Your child’s height, weight and age determine how your 
child restraint should be used and placed in the vehicle. 

40-100 lbs (18.1-45.4 kg) 
and 43-57 in. (110.1-144.8 
cm) and Over 4 Years Old

Preparing Child Restraint For Use

Expose the Backrest 
Connection Hole

Flip up and hold the 
rectangular shaped flap 
down on the rear of the 
seat base down.

To use the child restraint with the seat back, follow the 
instructions below to attach the seat back.

Attach Seat Back to 
Base

With the backrest laying 
flat (horizontal), insert 
the hook on the backrest 
into the large opening 
on the back of the seat 
base.  Make sure the seat 
pad does not get caught 
between the moving parts.

Rotate Backrest Up

Rotate backrest up until it 
“clicks”.  Tuck backrest 
hole flap under the 
backrest pad.
