time elapses, the red LED goes on for a short time, the safe plays a short melody and quits the code enter/change
mode; the valid access code has not been changed, the original one is still accepted
•
now you can enter a new code again proceeding from the beginning of the item 3. above
4 Locking the safe up:
•
close the safe door and turn the hand wheel to the left stop, the safe will lock up automatically (the closing
mechanism will be blocked)
•
to make sure the safe is correctly locked up, try to turn the hand wheel to the left and to the right, if the
hand wheel remains in the position, the safe is really locked
•
now, the safe is locked up!
•
the safe can be unlocked only by entering the valid (last entered) six-digit code or by the emergency keys
5 Unlocking the safe:
•
to unlock the safe, enter the valid six-digit access code
•
any code digit entered is indicated with a beep
•
after you have entered the last code digit, the safe checks that the code is correct
•
if the code is correct, the green LED goes on and the safe lock gets unblocked
•
turn the safe hand wheel to the right stop, the safe gets unlocked and you can open the safe door; the safe lock
remains unblocked for 3 seconds, if you do not unlock it using the hand wheel within these 3 seconds, the lock
gets blocked again automatically (and remains locked)
•
when the safe lock is unlocked, you can change the valid six-digit access code according to the item 3. above
(Entering a new code)
•
if the valid code is entered incorrectly, the red LED turns on for three seconds and the “Error” melody sounds
•
after three unsuccessful attempts, the safe will enter the “Hold” state where the safe electronics is blocked for an
interval of 10 minutes and no access code is accepted
•
in the “Hold” state, the safe will play the “Hold” melody and turn on the red LED for 3 seconds when any key is
pushed
•
when the 10 minutes interval has elapsed, it is possible to begin the safe unlocking procedure again
•
if the safe finds the batteries exhausted when the lock is being unlocked, it warns the user they should replace
the batteries by playing the “Error” melody and turning the orange LED on
6 Opening the safe in emergency:
•
if you forget the valid numerical code, the batteries get discharged or the safe electronics fails, the safe can be
opened by one of the emergency keys mentioned above
•
to open the safe using an emergency key, insert the key into the lock, turn it to the right, turn the hand wheel to
the right stop, and open the safe door
7 Checking the condition of the batteries:
•
the manufacturer strongly recommends that the condition of the batteries be checked every half a year starting
from the safe purchase date
•
the condition of the batteries is checked by pushing the ENTER pushbutton when the safe is locked up
•
if the capacity of the batteries is sufficient, the safe will play the “Hello” melody and all indication LEDs will
give three flashes
•
when the batteries are old and exhausted, the safe will play the “Error” melody and turn on the orange LED to
indicate the batteries should be replaced
•
four 1.5 VDC alkaline, C size batteries are used in the safe, always use the same type of batteries of the same
manufacturer
•
used batteries should be treated as dangerous, separated scrap
8 Malfunction of the electronics:
•
in case of the failure of the safe electronics, when the safe responds to the pushing of any key by playing the
“Error“ melody and one or two flashes of the red LED or when it does not respond at all, please open the safe
with an emergency key!
•
replace the batteries with new ones and follow the item 3. above (Entering a new code)
•
if the safe still does not work properly, please call your service company!
