WARNING: Never try to repair the detector yourself to prevent possible
dangers: electric shock or gas alarm failure. The service life of the gas sensor
is 5 years from commissioning. After this time, it must be replaced.
In the event that the SafeMi SHG-02 sensor triggers an alarm, stay calm and do the following:

Turn off all gas appliances.

Do not turn on or off any electrical appliances, including a gas detector.

Turn off the gas supply by shutting off the main gas valve in the building.

Extinguish all naked flames, including cigarettes, etc.

Open doors and windows to increase ventilation.
 Do not use the phone in a room where there may be gas.
 Leave the building and contact the gas service or gas supplier.
If the alarm is still active (the siren sounds) and you cannot feel gas in the room, you can silence
the alarm using the TEST / HUSH button. If, even after resetting the sensor, in extreme cases
where the cause of the leak is not visible and / or cannot be corrected / eliminated, leave the
room and IMMEDIATELY notify the gas supplier and / or gas service to test the installation and
make necessary repairs to ensure safety.
WARNING: The following substances may affect the sensor and cause false or
permanent damage: silicone fumes, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur oxides, chlorine
gas, hydrogen chloride, alkali metals, water, alcohol-based products, ethyl
acetate, paints, thinner, solvents, adhesives, hairsprays, aftershaves, perfumes
and certain cleansers.
