Your Airone XP3 Fume Cupboard should be assembled and sited by specialists using the
correct handling equipment. Please contact Safelab systems for assistance in this matter.
Space for free air circulation must be provided around the Airone XP Ducted Fume
Cupboard (see page 7 for a guide to siting the cupboard).
Connect the cupboard to the duct system, and the control system to the extract fan system
before plugging the mains lead.
The Airone XP3 Ducted Fume Cupboard is now ready for commissioning.
LOCATION OF FUME CUPBOARD
Fume Cupboard location should be chosen to minimise any undue airflow disturbances to
reduce the risk of contaminants leaving the Fume Cupboard and to reduce the chances on
anomalous results when carrying out the following maintenance checks.
A general guide to suitable distances from common airflow disturbances is shown below
and if any Fume Cupboards are found to be exposed to these conditions, it should be noted
in this log book.
