Using the wrench, rotate the Z
Plate Cam to raise and engage
the Z Plate into the vehicle’s
roof gutter.
Keep the Cam Lobe at its
highest vertical position and
inline with the Mounting
Bracket for Steps 1.10 & 1.11

Place a 19mm or 3/4”
open end wrench onto
the Z Plate Cam.

Place a 13mm box
end wrench onto the
Z Plate Cam Nut.

Ensure the vehicle’s roof gutter is
engaged within the Z Plate, and
the Mounting Plate is fully seated
inside the gutter.
Torque the Z Plate Cam Nut to 90
in-lbs. Repeat this procedure for
the all remaining Brackets.
