MAINTENANCE
Clean polyurethane seat and back with soap and water. To repair
small cuts in polyurethane, apply a few drops of quick-drying glue
into the cut and press the sides together until the glue sets.

This product functions as a leaning device, serving to reduce
strain on the legs while allowing a full range of upper body
movement. The spring-loaded seat follows the leaning action of
the user, improving circulation in the upper thighs. Seat design
provides lower back support. A large base reduces the chance of
tipping. Rubber feet prevent the stool from accidentally sliding
back. The footrest enables the user to relieve pressure on either
leg from time to time. Height is adjustable from 23" to 34".
Check all parts against Parts List before
beginning assembly.
IF your A Flat Rubber Feet have been pre-installed,
check to make sure they are tightened securely. If
they have not been installed, insert a B Sheet Metal
Screw through a C Small Washer and then into the
hole on the flat side of one of the flat rubber feet;
place over a hole on the underside of the D Base
Loop, and screw into place. Repeat with remaining
flat rubber feet, in remaining holes.
Identify the E Left Front Foot by the "L" on the end of
its plug, and the F Right Front Foot by its "R". Push
their plugs into the ends of the base loop (left and
right are YOURS, as you look at the open ends of the
base loop).
Push the G Back Loop, with the series of holes
facing the FRONT, into the sockets of the front feet.
Prop the back loop on your shoulder and align the H
Brace over the bottom ends of the back loop until the
holes line up. Attach the back loop to the inside
rounded edges of the brace, using four I Carriage
Bolts and four J Nuts. Tighten securely, but do not
crush the back loop.
Attach the base loop to the bottom edges of the
brace, again using four carriage bolts and four nuts.
Tighten securely, but do not crush the base loop.
Assemble the K Seat to the L Seat Bracket using
four M Machine Screws and four N Large Washers.
Grasp the seat assembly by the sides, with the back
away from you. Tilt the seat front up, and line up the
wire prongs on either side of the seat back with the
desired set of holes in the back loop.
CAUTION: Do NOT use the bottom two sets of holes;
these are needed for the lower safety tabs on the
seat assembly! Insert the prongs into the holes, and
tilt the seat assembly down until its side rails lie flat
along the back loop and the safety tabs enter the
holes in the back loop..
To change the seat height, lift the front of the seat
until the prongs can be disengaged, then reinsert into
new position as before.
The knob under the back of the seat can be adjusted
to provide firmer or softer cushioning action.

GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This product is designed as a leaning aid, not a chair; do not
attempt to use it with both feet off the floor.
This product must be on level surface to ensure proper stability.
Only use this product when fully assembled.
Do not insert seat's wire prongs into bottom two sets of holes on
back loop; safety tabs (below wire prongs) must fully enter the
holes so seat assembly rests firmly against back loop.
Never use this product if it does not perform according to this
sheet or warranty may be void.
Immediately report any problems to Safco and always give the
manufacturer's date code information from the label under the
seat.
