Position units side-by-side. Unscrew the nuts
and bolts at the bottom of both units – only
where the two units will be connected.
DO NOT REMOVE THE STABILIZERS. Push
both units together and re-connect the bolts at
the center using one set of nuts and bolts.
Insert one end of a B Spacer Rod into the
desired hole on one side of the unit. Hold this
end in place with one hand and use the other
hand to GENTLY FLEX the rod until the other end
can be inserted into the appropriate hole on the
opposite side. Slide the Rubber Tips J securely
into the holes.

To operate the bookend clips, PUSH the clip so
the lower face of the clip will be against the
desired media – natural tension will hold it in
position. To adjust the clip, tip the upper end of
the clip toward the media to release the tension,
then PULL the clip along the rod.
