Phoenix G2 IDU alarm configuration
Alarms are divided into two sections:
Major
- alarms with direct, immediate impact on the link operability
Minor
- alarms with partial, immediate impact on the link
For correct protection role switching, the user have to configure all the
Pri/Sec
switch
alarms appropriately. Only such alarm which is enabled and listed as
Pri/Sec
switch
will be used for full protection switching.
The alarm list corresponds to the list of possible SNMP Traps.
Available alarms will vary depending on the used Mode and the device
configuration.

Configuration saving
At the end of the configuration process, it is necessary to save any changes of device
configuration into start-up non-volatile memory (called "c0"). This can be done by the
button which will appear in the upper right corner of the GUI whenever an
unsaved configuration is detected.
Do not power-off the device immediately after pressing the
button. It can take up to 10 seconds until all changes are successfully
written into the non-volatile memory.
