The machine starts dispensing the descaling solution at regular inter-
vals. The display shows the cycle progress.

The message indicates the end of the fi rst step. The water tank needs
to be rinsed.
Fill the water tank with fresh water up to the CALC
CLEAN level.
Press the “
” button.
Note:
The circuit must be cleaned with a preset quantity of water.
If the water tank is not fi lled up to the CALC CLEAN level, the machine may
require several refi lls for rinsing.

Empty the milk carafe and fi ll half of it with fresh water. Insert it back
into the machine with the dispensing spout open. Press the “

Empty the container and place it back under both the milk carafe dis-
pensing spout and the coff ee dispensing spout. Press the “
” button.
