MAIN STORAGE COMPARTMENT (
continued
):
The main compartment of your bag
1
can hold a variety of items, including a open-face
style helmet.
Use the protective sleeve
2
to stow books, or a small notebook-style computer. Be
sure to secure the cargo in the sleeve with the retention strap
3
that connects to the
sleeve with a hook and loop fastener strip (see item
6
in the image below).
NOTE:
If you are going to place a helmet and other objects in the main compartment,
place your helmet in a bag to protect it’s finish.
To open the upper section of the bag’s main compartment beyond the standard 90-
degree angle, disconnect the side panels
4
by unzipping the zippers connecting the
panels to the lower section of the bag.
With the upper section of the bag
5
open to a full 180-degrees, it can be used as a
temporary table.
NOTE:

LOCKING, QUICK-RELEASE BUCKLES:
Certain versions of the BR1800 Tail Bag, but not all versions, are equipped with quick
release clasps under the conventional metal buckles and straps. The quick release clasps
can also be locked for additional security (use the supplied key to lock and unlock the
quick release clasp).
To release the clasps, use your index finger and thumb to press inward on the sides of the
male tab. The clasp must be unlocked to allow the male tab to slide out of the female portion
of the clasp.
