Close the side load lever completely (pic. 3, illustration
“LOCK”) after counterbalancing the camera (see also
paragraph 3.4. “counterbalancing the camera”).
NOTE:
If the camera plate is not locked in the snapping
mechanism, the side load lever can not be closed completely.
Therefore open the mechanism completely by pushing the red
safety push button and open the side load lever pic. 3,
illustration “OPEN”).
NOTE:
To close side load lever without camera plate
(e. g. for transportation), press the marked safety pin (pic. 4)
permanently while closing the side load lever.
