edges, etc. Avoid bouncing and snagging the
accessory. Corners, sharp edges or bouncing have a
tendency to snag the rotating accessory and cause loss
of control or kickback.
■ Do not attach a saw chain woodcarving blade or
toothed saw blade. Such blades create frequent
kickback and loss of control.
INTENDED USE
■ Grinding metal or cutting materials such as metal or
stone.
Note: Use only recommended accessories. Instructions for
safe use of accessories are included with the accessory.
MAINTENANCE
■ When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause
product damage.
■ Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types
of commercial solvents and may be damaged by their
use. Use clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease,
etc.
■ Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side
shields during power product operation or when blowing
dust. If operation is dusty, also wear a dust mask.
■ To avoid serious personal injury, always remove
the battery pack from the product when cleaning or
performing any maintenance.
■ Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-
based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact
with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic which may result in serious personal
injury.
■ Only the parts shown on the parts list are intended to
be repaired or replaced by the customer. All other parts
should be replaced at an authorized service center.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials instead of disposing
of as waste. The machine, accessories
and packaging should be sorted for
environmental-friendly recycling.
