TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem

Arc goes out while
operating. Arc can’t be
restarted when torch
trigger is activated.
Torch cuts but not well.
Power Supply is overheated
(Overheat indicator ON).
Fan blades blocked
(Overheat indicator ON).
Air flow blocked.
Gas pressure is too low.
Torch parts worn.
Faulty components in unit.
Current control is set too low.
Torch is being moved too fast
across work piece.
Excessive oil or moisture in torch.
Let unit cool down for at least 5
minutes. Make sure the unit has not
been operated beyond duty cycle limit.
Check and clear blades.
Check for blocked air flow around the
unit and correct condition.
Check gas source, It should be set to
at least 65 PSI/4.5 bar. Adjust it as
needed.
Check torch shield cup, cutting tip,
start cartridge and electrode. Replace
as needed.
Return for repair or have qualified
technician repair machine.
Increase the current setting.
Reduce cutting speed.
Hold torch 3 mm from clean surface
while purging and observe oil or
moisture buildup (do not activate
torch). If there are contaminants in the
gas, additional filtering may be
needed.
