OPERATION

INSTALLING THE BATTERY PACK

See Figure 13.

Follow these steps to install the battery pack.

Lock the trigger switch by placing the rotation
selector in the center position.

Place the battery pack on the tool.

Make sure the latches on each side of the battery
pack snap into place and the battery pack is secured
on the tool before beginning operation.

CAUTION:

When placing the battery pack on the tool, make sure
that the raised rib inside the tool aligns with the groove
on the battery pack and that the latches snap into
place properly. Improper assembly of the battery pack
can cause damage to internal components.

REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK

See Figure 13.

Follow these steps to remove the battery pack.

Depress the latches on the side of battery pack.

Remove the battery pack from the tool.
